We did well with so few animals competing. Camelot was 1st in class and then went on to take Grand Champion Junior! She is a late May baby and beat out an older kid and beautiful dry yearlings to claim the Grand Champion honors. We were very proud to have such a young kid do so well.

Emerald was 2nd in a competitive dry yearling class. Blaze and Lotus were 2nd and 3rd in yearling milkers. Kahlua was the first place 2-year-old. Avalon stood first in her class and was Reserve Champion Alpine. We had the 1st place Dam & Daughter with Avalon and Camelot. 1st place Produce of Dam(Dam: Echo Ridge's SS Cyrprus) with Lotus and Avalon. 1st place Get-Of-Sire was sired by our Echo Ridge's SS Bushwacker*B and consisted of Blaze, Kahlua, and Emerald. We had the top Alpine Dairy Herd and 3rd Dairy Herd overall.

Another great year at the wonderful Kalispell Northwest Montana Fair! We always really enjoy coming up to this show, and this year was no exception. Camelot was 1st place junior kid and the Reserve Junior Champion to a beautiful dry yearling. Emerald was 3rd in the dry yearling class. Lotus was first in the milking yearling class while Blaze was 3rd. Kahlua was 3rd in the two-year-old class. Avalon defended her title from last year. She was 1st place 3 year old, Grand Champion, Best of Breed, and Best Udder of Breed. Then she went on to be BEST UDDER OF SHOW! We are so proud of our own Echo Ridge’s HC Avalon earning another leg towards a permanent grand championship! We were undefeated in group classes. We had the 1st place Dam & Daughter with Avalon and Camelot, 1st place produce for the produce of Echo Ridge SS Cyprus (Avalon & Lotus), 1st place Get-of-Sire went to Echo Ridge’s SS Bushwacker*B (Kahlua, Blaze, Emerald). We also had the Best Breeder’s Trio with Avalon, Lotus, and Camelot. And we had the Best AOP Dairy Herd with Avalon, Lotus, and Blaze. We are truly looking forward to next year in Kalispell and spending some more time with the fantastic people and dairy goat club up there.
